- Location : Eritrea is located in N.E. Africa. It’s capital is “Asmara”. At the South of Eritrea is Ethiopia ,to its North is the Red Sea , and to its West is Sudan. Eritrea has a population of around 4 to 4.5 million people. Around 50% of the population are Christians while the rest are mainly Muslims..
- Weather Conditions: Eritrea is basically divided into high lands and low lands. In the High lands the temperature ranges between 8° C to 20° C .While in the low lands at the peak summer ,it can go up to 45°C .However the majority of the Schools are located in Highlands
- Time : 2-1/2 hours behind IST( 12:00 noon in N Delhi is 09:00 am in Asmara).
- Languages: English, Tigre and Arabic,
- Currency : Eritrean Nakfa.
- Food : Rice, Wheat, Chicken , Mutton and limited vegetables and fruits ,etc are available in Eritrea.
